Description
The Midleton Very Rare 2023 Vintage Release, crafted by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman, blends rare single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels, it offers decadent flavors and a tantalizing aroma, delighting both newcomers and seasoned collectors.
Nose:
A vibrant mix of nectarines, melon, green apple, and apricot, layered with ginger, peppercorns, dried flowers, golden syrup, vanilla, honeycomb, and roasted coffee.
Taste:
Luscious fruits, creamy texture, and herbal chamomile notes, enriched by spices, floral grain, charred oak, and hints of candied orange and dried apricot.
Finish:
Fruits and spices peak, fading into oak tannins and antique grain whiskey for a lasting, complex finish.
