1924年創業的酒藏,由第四代傳人橫山雄三繼任。原本以燒灼最為廣泛熟識,社長選擇了開拓釀造日本清酒。因契機橫山五十與東洋美人澄川社長互相認識,概因東洋美人每年也會花時間到山形替十四代一起造酒,並互相交換造酒心得;於是橫山亦到東洋美人的酒藏,利用了地利水源等設施,釀造出自家的清酒。橫山50深信除日本國內,亦有信心將優等的清酒帶給世界各地讓人品嚐
